Are You Sure Chuck Norris Is Bald and Wearing a Wig?

I don’t believe many people out there don’t know who Chuck Norris is. Before we get into the specifics of his background, a movie scene may likely jog many baby boomers’ memories.

In the scene, Lee first launches his famous three kicks. The white guy blocks them with his hands, his face looking nonchalant.

Then they both try to feel each other out by launching continuous side kicks without moving too far forward. While Lee continues his kick, his white opponent smartly moves back, and with a reverse turning kick, his foot lands right in the center of Lee’s face and knocking him down.

Of course, the plot eventually has Lee get up and win the fight. But, as a devoted martial arts fan, I must inquire: in the second half of the fight, I see Lee repeating the same punches and kicks he did at the beginning while his white opponent stands there, allowing him to kick and punch all over his body. He quickly blocked Lee’s kicks at the beginning of the fight; how come he wouldn’t block them again at the end? Anyway, I’m not the director.

The film is called Way of the Dragon, and the white guy who did the showdown with Bruce Lee was our eminent Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris: More Than a Movie Star

Bruce Lee passed on, and Chuck Norris lives on. His bang and mullet have never changed throughout his life. Today, we can tell this is Chuck Norris just by his signature mullet and bang.

Before going hard on movies, Chuck Norris was already a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Tang Soo Do. Norris won numerous martial arts titles after serving in the US Air Force. He also invented his own style, Chun Kuk Do.

Before the movies, he was a celebrity martial arts coach. After co-starring with Bruce Lee in his famous Way of The Dragon (1972), following the advice of his friend and fellow student, Steve McQueen, he decided to take acting seriously.

Norris took the starring role in Breaker! Breaker! (1977), which turned a profit. His second lead, Good Guys Wear Black (1978), became a blockbuster, and soon, the well-built guy in bangs and mullet became a household action movie star for life.

Does Chuck Norris Wear a Wig?

Doubts and questions about whether he’s wearing a wig can be traced back to his 1993 movie Walker Texas Ranger. This scrupulous Chuck Norris fan pointed out in a forum that in the movie, Chuck Norris’s hair is looking thicker by the minute. In the old “Missing in Action” movies where the audience could see his hairline and part at least.

The fan also said that usually the hairline is the ‘give away’, but in the Walker Texas, Chuck Norris always has thick bangs with no scalp showing through at all, and he ended his discussion sarcastically that with Chuck Norris’s money, he should be able to afford a better wig.

Another fan even said that Chuck Norris did a speech at their high school graduation ceremony, and his hair just doesn’t look natural, gee.

Other sources stated that Chuck Norris was already starting to go bald on TV when he first came to fame.

However, neither Chuck Norris admits it nor there there has been a single picture on the Internet that effectively proves his lack of hair.

Is Chuck Norris wearing a wig or hairpiece? The guessing game may continue if Chuck refuses to tell the truth to the media.

However, personally, I do believe Chuck Norris is a toupee wearer, or, more precisely, a bad toupee wearer.

Why? Now let’s see some of his haircuts during these years and find the truth.

Firstly, his hair does look wired on the top, just like a cap, especially in the earlier years, they don’t blend in with his natural hair on the two sides at all.

Another clue is that his hair seems too thick for an older man, and it’s never seemed changed a bit over the years.

The most important part is he hardly reveals his hairline. When someone is wearing a wig or hairpiece, the hairline is the most noticeable feature to determine whether or not he is wearing it.

Wearers typically do not reveal their hairline except they are wearing a super realistic wig, like glue-on hair systems.

The fact that Norris never reveals his hairline could indicate that he doesn’t expect the camera to catch his unnatural hairline.

The base gets glued to the wearer’s scalp seamlessly with medical-grade adhesives——it doesn’t itch, and never flips off while wearing it.

Different from traditional wigs, it is semi-permanent——lasts on the scalp for up to a month. You can sleep, shower, and exercise in it. And it doesn’t go anywhere.

The stylist can trim it into styles just like a regular haircut once you have it attached to the scalp.

Others can not even detect it at a close view from the hairline or the scalp.

Final Words

Even though everyone believes that the Oklahoma-born veteran, martial artist, actor, and author Chuck Norris has been wearing a wig for years to keep his signature look, he has done a great job of keeping people from seeing him bald, as no pictures on the Internet can significantly prove that.

His signature look—the famous mullet and bang—is deeply encrypted in people’s head lobes.

I believe that there must be something covering his head. To believe that he has always had a full head of healthy hair and regularly gets his hair dyed the same color, wearing a hairpiece is somewhat more straightforward for me to swallow.

Regardless, for anyone who wants to own a full head of hair, top-notch hair systems can quickly help the person achieve the disired look.
