How to color customize hair toppers

Step 1: Mix the hair dye in a plastic bowl (metal bowls can oxidize your dye. Do not use one.)

Step 2: Pin the hair topper onto a mannequin head and part it into 4 equal sections with clips.

Step 5: Create “points of light” with the lightning agent and saturate where you want to see the lighter color.

Wait about 30 minutes for the color to change. We recommend checking the hair dye every 10 minutes.

Step 6: Rinse and wash the hair with purple shampoo and conditioner. Repeat this step about 3 times. (Lukewarm water is recommended so that the pores are opened just right.)

Step 7: Blow-dry the hair completely. Remember not to use an overly hot hairdryer setting.

After coloring, it’s time to style. You can style the hair in any way according to your customer’s individual needs. Just keep in mind that you should not use high heat settings or apply heat from a curling iron for too long.

That’s a complete guide on how to dye a human hair topper properly. We recommend you follow it to achieve the most gorgeous results.
